Summary
SYNOPSIS
AF
In order to seek benefit for their own, many countries joined divided world power organization AF & RSA due to the Arctic Territorial Dispute. Canada however, has delayed their plan due to conflict with US about the Northwestern seaway. US wins over Russia from confrontation at Bering Sea, and with difficulties lands successfully at Magadan (Russia Territory) however falls into the shock by hearing Russia’s strike on US, main land and New York. As war rages, Canada , Australia, and other various countries joined AF organization.
RSA
Russia’s satellite state and near countries that have refused to join RSA, gets occupied by Russia with military action. Russia has incited Quebec’s independence to lead them to invade US territory and plans out attack on New York secretly.
Chapter 01, Unseen Danger
The Arctic Ocean, underground resource discovery and beginning of the conflict.
- In 2008, United States Geological Survey(USGS) have estimated that there’s 9million barrels of crude oil and 43trilion m3 of natural gas reserves under permafrost of the Arctic Circle area.
- NATO and UN presided the summit regards massive amount of underground resources in the Arctic Ocean, but failed to draw an agreement.
Chapter 02, Dispute begins
Dispute movement between world powers.
- Russia have called arctic as “The Russian Arctic” and designated as 37th National park and expressed will to protect their sovereignty over the arctic territory.
- Mackay, Minister of Foreign Affairs for Canada, strongly criticized Russia’s ‘Flag pining’ actions, and have increased their naval power inside the Arctic Circle area.
- US have started military actions with excuses of US merchant ship protection soon after they sent the Costal Guard probe ship called ‘Hilliho’ in the name of ocean and geological survey.
Chapter 03, Dispute Intensified
At the brink of war, series of events.
- Even with warnings from NATO and UN, Russia constructed an oil prospecting ship for mining crude oil and natural gases in Arctic Ocean.
- The conflict between US and Russia have reached climax as researchers from USGS probe ship gets detained at Russia’s oil prospecting ship.
- An incident happens, where US cruiser ‘Genesis Class ?’ gets hit by unidentified torpedo as crossing by Canadian territorial waters.
Chapter 04, War
Outbreak of World War III.
- As detained US researchers all shot to death, US have blamed Russia for responsible along with sunken cruiser ‘Genesis Class ?’ and declared war against Russia.
- As sea battle between Russia, US, Canada seems to be dragging, Russia supported Quebec(Canada territory)’s ndependence and plans to invade US’s main land.
- Soon after organization called RSA forms by Russia and US forms AF organization, and world was splitted into 2 major powers.
- With territorial dispute around Arctic Circle advanced into the war, outbreak of World War III has begun.
